Right off the bat, when I saw this in the fridge I thought it was the normal Red Bull I tend to buy from time to time. The can size and branding are spot on Red Bull with a bit of 60’s retro feel in some of the typography. This is a ‘natural’ cola and the caffeine comes from the cocoa beans. So what does it taste like? A natural cola. I would try it once, especially at a $1.39 price point. If your feeling the burn from the tough economy, the smaller can size might not be worth the dough. So we got our hands on some Rubyy  Blood Orange Energy 12 oz cans. Hands down, best packaging I have seen on an energy product this year. Theres no gimmick, no overdone marketing scheme, and the overall package is just solid and sophisticated. You should see this can under a black light too. This stuff is only available at W Hotels and select stores/clubs in California, which is a bummer because I would buy this all the time. Rubyy’s taste comes from the blood orange and has a citrus/orange flavor that I could drink all day. This beverage is lightly carbonated and there are some recipe’s for mixing it with alcohol that are excellent.  Rubyy is highly enjoyable to drink and deserves EnergyRobot.com’s first 6/5 Stars. www.rubyy.com

So before we release some more delightful reviews for you to enjoy, we have been keeping on top of the beverage industry world and there are a few items that caught our attention. First, there has been a lot of rave about RUBYY - Blood Orange Energy Drink and how it has a great taste and packaging, we can not find any! Over at CSNews, all the attention this year was on the energy shot market, and how ConocoPhillips will be adding to it’s energy shot lineup. Also, Red Bull will be releasing an energy shot in 2009… will it be a greater effort than the Red Bull Cola? We will see.
